Obtained www.blindinglightshow.com domain name (currently forward to our old site).

Reworked the web site to support individual content - video pages for each show.

There's lots of sequencing and preporations going on.

2008-06

The leaping light arches for the driveway are done. We had a lot of fun playing with them in the back yard. The spare controller is no longer spare. We've added enough items to the display that it is needed in the front yard.

(There are rumors that the Halloween decorations want to start their own show. But you can’t believe everything a ghost tells you.)

2008-02-23

Ordered two more 16 channel controllers at the Light-O-Rama "secret sale". We're thinking about adding a couple arches to the main show with one controller. The other one we're probably going to do something at the back of our lot (without music). Maybe we'll light up our shed and/or do a couple arches back there. This also leaves it available as a spare.

RIP Train - After fighting to keep the lights lit on the train over the past several years, we need to retire it before it suffers the fate of Clark Griswolds sleigh. I know a lot of people love it. But I just can't keep it lit. And the way some of the strings are acting, I'm starting to have safety concerns.

We started running the show wigth Light-O-Rama tonight. All seems well.

2007-12-30

Ordered a 32 channel Light-O-Rama kit today. This will give us the ability to animated a few more things next year. We already bought some LED rope light trees on clearance. It's all solid state triacs too (no more relays clicking on the porch).

Added two new sequences (Carol of the Bells and Wizards in Winter), Both song use the 4 new channels. Also changed from doing one song every 10 minutes to doing a four song show every 20 minutes.

I found 4 more channels on the parallel port I can control. We now have control of the train, goofy, santa, frosty, and the little pole lamps.
